Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. Trusted third-party vendors who assist in operating the Platform (hosting, payment processing, analytics, email delivery) under strict data-processing agreements.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the successor entity.
  • Legal requirements. When required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

  • With your consent. Any other sharing will be done only with your explicit consent.
05

Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) to operate the Platform, remember your preferences, and understand how you use our services.

  • Essential cookies are required for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies help us understand usage patterns. You may opt out via your browser settings.
  • Preference cookies remember your settings such as language and theme.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Platform functionality. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

06

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

We may retain certain information after account deletion where required by law, for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements. Aggregated, anonymised data may be retained indefinitely.

07

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at help@scribematrix.com. We will respond within 30 days.

08

Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorised disclosure. These measures include TLS encryption in transit, hashed password storage, and restricted staff access.

Despite our efforts, no security system is impenetrable. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

09

Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at help@scribematrix.com and we will take steps to delete it promptly.

10

International Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Where we transfer data outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission — to protect your information in accordance with this policy.

11

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the Platform before the change takes effect.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
